The internal survey is conducted online from July 1 to 31, with 550 business leaders at VP, President, CXO, CEO, CHRO level and above in all sectors, including automotive and automotive auxiliaries , banking and finance, construction and engineering, education / teaching / training, FMCG, Hospitality, HR Solutions, IT, ITES and BPO, Logistics among others.

The survey was conducted in 14 cities across India including Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Coimbatore, Chandigarh, Jamshedpur Guwahati, Bhubaneswar and Pune.

The report further notes that the pandemic has made individuals reluctant to travel to work with restrictions on traveling on public transport and fear of catching the virus.

More than 82% of those polled believed that vaccinating the population would significantly reduce this reluctance and give individuals the confidence to get to work without worries, he added.

“The pandemic has been an extremely difficult time for us as a nation. The government is putting all its hands on the bridge to curb the spread of the virus. Vaccination campaigns remain the only viable solution to revive disrupted economies and restore livelihoods to normalcy, ”added Genius Consultants CMD RP Yadav.
