At April 15e this year, we contracted with an independent engineering and manufacturing company to refine the design of our cryomechanical system for handling harvested hemp, cannabis and other high-value plants. The system exploits CryoMass’ patented process in the United States for the controlled application of liquid nitrogen to stabilize and separate structural elements from raw plant material.

The device currently under development is sized for highway transportability and is optimized for low cost collection of fully intact hemp and cannabis trichomes. It can be used within minutes of cutting the plants and can also effectively capture trichomes from fresh frozen or even dried plant parts including garnishes. The production capacity of the device should be around 600 kilograms of raw plant material per hour.

The advanced equipment design has been completed and testing of a prototype machine is currently underway. The engineering and manufacturing company has indicated that it has the capacity to build 10 to 15 of these devices per month.

At September 30e We have obtained an additional patent for our process from the Chinese Intellectual Property Office. We are currently taking steps to obtain additional protection for our intellectual property through the European Union Intellectual Property Office and several other international jurisdictions.

At November 11the We retained a second engineering and manufacturing company to independently develop a separate machine design that applies our patented process. We expect their work to help strengthen the power and robustness of CryoMass technology. In addition, it opens a channel to a second manufacturing source.

At November 17e we announced the completion of a $ 10.3 million equity financing. The funding and early conversion of substantially all of the Company’s debt into common stock has left the Company with a strong balance sheet and adequate resources for our expected business development over the next twelve months.

As part of the financing, 1,010,000 shares and 760,000 common shares of CryoMass Technologies were purchased by the CEO Christian christmas and Chairman of the Board of Directors Delon Human, respectively.

One thing we have not fact is to accept presale orders. We do not take a deposit for machines that we are not yet ready to deliver. But we get several inquiries from potential clients every week. We already know who many of our customers are likely to be, and many of them already know who we are.

What we will do

Beta tests. The first functional “beta” machine should be ready for field testing by a third-party cannabis producer in January 2022.

First machine delivery and first sale of services. The first production machine is expected to be ready for use by the end of the first quarter of 2022. At that point, we plan to start helping our first toll customer (service fee) to increase their margins by reducing the costs of handling, processing and refining their hemp or cannabis and increasing the value. of the resulting material for end product formulators.

Pricing decisions. The company is currently evaluating pricing and alternative marketing strategies for its upcoming products and services.

Why are we so busy

We expect the CryoMass equipment currently in development to offer a compelling combination of time and cost savings while improving product quality and quantity for large-scale hemp growers and processors and of cannabis.

First step cost savings. Using a CryoMass system – which can be trucked and operated on the fields of most large hemp and cannabis growers or permanently installed in a user’s processing facility – should eliminate good many of the costs associated with traditional practices, in particular labor, fuel and capital costs of drying and refining cultivated hemp or cannabis for the extraction of finished products.

With traditional practices, the harvested plants are transported to a specially constructed dryer, then processed for a week or more under controlled conditions of temperature and humidity. It is an expensive method. With our system, the harvested plants are simply fed into the front of a CryoMass machine, and a few minutes later fully intact trichomes are collected from the back of the machine.

Improvement in the quality and quantity of products. With traditional practices and their seven to ten days of handling and drying, much of a plant’s precious trichomes break down and are lost. Then, the remaining trichomes are damaged by long exposure to oxygen and by the evaporation of their volatile terpenes. The CryoMass system, on the other hand, stabilizes and collects fully intact trichomes at harvest, leaving no opportunity for such unnecessary loss.

Field-caught trichomes are the cleanest component of a hemp or cannabis plant because, unlike the rest of the plant, trichomes do not readily absorb heavy metals, pesticides, or other common contaminants. of the ground. As a product for end users, field-captured trichomes are closest to being contaminant-free. As a raw material for manufacturers of extracts and oils, they are the key to the purest possible products.

Downstream cost savings. Since trichomes collected with CryoMass technology represent only about 10% of a plant’s weight and volume, they are cheaper to ship and store than raw plant material. For the same reason and because trichomes are free of waxes and other unwanted materials found in the rest of the plant, the transformation of the trichomes into oils and extracts can be much faster, cheaper, and easier than the transformation of raw vegetable matter. Even trichomes captured from dried or frozen plant parts offer this economic benefit to oil and extract processors.

The three-dimensional benefit achievable with the CryoMass system – first stage cost savings, product improvement, and downstream cost savings – can up to double the wholesale value of a crop. And in some jurisdictions, users can benefit from reduced excise taxes levied on cannabis and hemp crops, which are typically tied to the gross weight of the hemp or cannabis that is removed from the field.

Industry size. The production and processing of hemp and cannabis is a huge global industry. In the United States, for example, the wholesale value of the cannabis harvest from the only 11 states that allow adult use and medical cannabis exceeds $ 6 billion annually.1 Growth in the United States and the global market is likely fueled in part by the growing acceptance of medicinal cannabis products and anticipated legislative changes in various jurisdictions around the world.

Opportunity. Our company has superior and patented technology. What keeps us so busy is the opportunity we see for the company and its shareholders to take advantage of this technology by reducing costs and increasing product value in a growing multi-billion dollar global industry. .

And this is perhaps only the first chapter in the history of the Company. Several other high-value plants, including species important for health and wellness products, envelop their precious elements in trichomes. The technology we are developing for hemp and cannabis may have profitable application for these other species as well. We intend to find out.
